Stefanie joined Blackwell & Associates recently after working in the United Kingdom for the past two years. She studied landscape architecture at the University of Western Australia, where she obtained a first class honours degree. Stefanie was awarded AILA's WA Future Leaders Award in 2011 for her honours project - Bayswater Constructed Wetland Project, which focused on cleansing the stormwater from the Bayswater Catchment area through a series of tiered constructed wetlands before it enters the Swan River. She was also shortlisted with this project for Hassell's Travel Scholarship - the Robin Edmond Award in 2011. Stefanie studied Landscape Architecture with Town Planning for one year as part of UWA's student exchange program at the University of Sheffield, and following her graduation in 2011, has gathered experience in the landscape industry within Perth and the United Kingdom. Previous to this, Stefanie worked as a student Landscape Architect in Perth.
Stefanie's experience from studying and working both abroad and within Perth have given her valuable knowledge and the foundations for her future projects. Along with projects ranging from housing and aged care developments to streetscape and urban design, her past experience has also seen her delivering ecological surveys, landscape visual impact assessments, residential garden designs, and various Chinese-based large scale projects.
